What is fray cafe?

Fray Cafe is a night of entertaining personal stories told live and onstage. People who usually tell their stories online are invited to get together and do it in person. There will be a few featured performers and a storytelling open mic. If you're the press, please see our official press release.

Fray Cafe rocked!

Fray Cafe 2 was amazing. Four hours of some of the best stories I've ever heard on stage. I'm still buzzing from it.

We were so packed that there was a moment when we realized that the fire department would have every right to shut us down. So we wound up turning a few people away. Like fifty. If you were one of them, you have my sincere apologies.

But don't fret: The whole event was captured in ones and zeroes. If you'd like to listen in, and you've got RealPlayer, click a tape below or you can listen to the whole shebang from the beginning.

And while you're listening, why not check out the photos, too? Thanks for tuning in!
